Stronger organizations.
These benchmarks come from the 2025 King County Wage & Benefit Survey, produced by 501 Commons and Nonprofit Compensation Associates with funding from the King County Veterans, Seniors, and Human Services Levy.
The figures describe participating employers’ pay practices as of March 1, 2025. They are a reference for comparison, rather than a definition of fair or ideal pay.

- Select a role below. Add additional roles to compare their results.
- Read each job description and match duties and responsibilities. Similar titles may describe different work; aim for an 80% match.
- Start with the average by employee when it is published. The average by organization gives each employer equal weight and offers context when employee averages are unavailable.
- Use the full report for benefits, employer characteristics, executive compensation, and methodology. Its printed page 19 explains averages and wage conversions.
Blank survey cells remain unavailable here. At least five organizations are required for published averages and medians; percentile reporting also requires at least 12 employee responses. When one organization contributes 40% or more of responses, only the organization average is shown.
